CUPE 1825 Support Staff
Education support staff are the people who fulfill the roles in many areas of the schools, from office staff to library facilitators who provide resources for learning and for fun, to educational assistants who help create a warm and supportive learning environment, to career practitioners and dual credit liaison workers who help the transition to the world after graduation.
CUPE 1825 represents the support staff of the Holy Spirit Catholic School Division, including Administrative Support, Education Assistants. Library Staff, Child and Youth Care Workers, Behavioural Education Assistants, Early Learning Assistants, Receptionists, Speech Language Assistant, Career Practitioner, Dual-Credit Liaison, Early Learning Program Leaders and School Accounting Administrators.
The Local represents members in the communities of Bow Island, Coaldale, Lethbridge, Taber, Picture Butte, and Pincher Creek.
CUPE 1825 is there is help its members, to ensure that members are treated fairly and that the Collective Agreement covers aspects of their jobs to confirm a safe, fair workplace.
